Common questions

What happens when my quota runs out?

Requests return 429 quota_exhausted with a JSON body that names the limit and the next reset time. Buying another month or upgrading keeps the same key working.

Can I bring my own domain?

Yes, on Team and above. Point the domain's MX records at MailFade and prove ownership with a TXT record. Every address at the domain becomes pollable.

Why offer Lightning?

Some teams pay engineering tooling out of an org wallet rather than a credit card; some independent developers prefer it. Card is the default; both rails issue the same kind of key.

Do you offer refunds?

Card payments: a seven-day refund window if fewer than 500 requests have been spent. Lightning top-ups are non-refundable by nature, but any unused request budget rolls into the next purchase.
